Sling, Silks, Lyra, and Trapeze

NAPAC is the first and only studio in Rock Hill to offer Aerial Classes. Through these classes we inspire confidence and strength to achieve new heights
We offer Kids Classes for ages and 5-18 and adult classes for ages 19 and up. No experience necessary, COME FLY WITH US!
• Silks Tuition is $90 per month
• Silks Registration is $110 per year
*Students must take Sling before enrolling in Silks
Aerial Sling
Aerial Sling, sometimes called Hammock, is an aerial fabric tied at both ends to create a loop. This apparatus is typically the most comfortable for beginners but can be used for advanced skills as well!
Some classes may also teach Sling skills on a Silk tied into a knot, which can be at various heights—making learning accessible for a wider range of abilities.
Aerial SILK
Aerial Silk, a fabric rigged from the middle to create two strands, is used by creating different types of wraps to hold the body. This apparatus requires a little more strength and coordination than Aerial Sling.
Trapeze
A Trapeze is a bar (usually aluminum but sometimes steel or carbon fiber) with two ropes. There are different types of trapeze. At NAPAC, we teach Static/Dance Trapeze. This means that not only do you have skills on and under the bar, but also skills that use the ropes similarly to Aerial Sling.
Lyra
Lyra, also known as Aerial Hoop, is a circular bar apparatus that is intended for skills below, in the middle, and on top of the hoop. The spanset (strap holding the hoop) can also be used for certain more advanced skills. The Lyra is also intended for spinning!
